This Is For Those That Feel Like Their Dreams Are Impossible

This Is For Those That Feel Like Their Dreams Are Impossible

Throughout my journey I have felt more than enough times that what I am set out to do is nearly impossible, and while spirituality and my soul-journey have more than supported me and held me within that, and carried me all the way to where I am now, I have learned something very valuable from my dreams and goals themselves.

And, that lesson is exactly what I am here to share with you today!

This is for those that feel like their dreams are impossible from the Spirit & Soul blog

So here’s the deal my beautiful soul-seeking, co-creating badasses…

Your dreams are not impossible.
They are almost impossible.

#TruthBomb #MicDrop. You see, words have power. More so than we give them credit for. The word almost, in this instant, quite literally creates space for the impossible to be possible. You also grant yourself the permission to be inspired and empowered more than enough to go for it.

My friends, your dreams, goals, ideas, desires, etc. are not impossible. They are almost impossible. Which makes your dreams, goals, ideas, desires, etc. equally as almost possible. Here, you become empowered. Here, you CAN make it happen. Here, your dreams, goals, ideas, desires, etc. are so much closer to you than you think.

When you operate from this new-found space, you can create anything you dream, think, and desire.

The Law of Attraction says, “Your thoughts create your reality.” So, what are you focused on? How impossible your dreams, goals, ideas, desires, etc. are? Or, how you’ve got just enough space to pull it off, make it happen, manifest magic, and inspire + empower the world with your “almost” impossible mindset to bring positive change.

So to all of you beautiful light-working, inspired as hell souls that are craving something magic but are afraid, feel like (or are told) that your dreams are impossible, or even just don’t know where to start here’s what I’ve got to say :

You can do this.
I know so because I’m doing it too, in my own way, and I’m walking right beside you.

If you believe in yourself and your soul is calling you to show up for something, show up for it.
It might be scary and push you outside of your comfort zone, but you’ve got magic to share and you can’t hide it or deny the rest of the world that is looking for what you have to offer.

Your dreams are NOT impossible.
They are almost impossible.

Lean into the almost. With everything you’ve got.
It will carry you, I promise.

The Journey Is Messy, Embrace It!

The Journey Is Messy, Embrace It!

Personal + spiritual growth, it sounds so pretty doesn’t it? It is one of the messiest things a person can journey through, and I invite you to know that the mess is the exact reason it is such a beautiful and empowering process. Many of us begin this journey because the sparkle of love + light and enlightenment look so good, and then we begin and we learn that so much of this journey is learning how to rise from the bullshit. That experience is a messy one.

The Journey is Messy, Embrace it! from the Spirit & Soul blog

I’d like to invite you to embrace the mess, and invite it to empower you. Because let’s be real, the mess is the only reason we can grow in the first place. How does a tree’s soil gain enough moisture for a tree to properly grow and thrive? Icy winter’s, stormy summers, and a whole lot of changing climates. The cold of the winter empowers the tree because the tree needs the winter snow to fall and melt. The crashing + pouring storms of the summer empower the trees in the same way, pushing the tree to take it’s roots to a place that will hold it stably, raining water into the soil for the tree to be nourished.

We’ve got icy winters and summer storms of our own and those seasons are messy, but it is within that mess that we learn. It is from the darkness that we can know light, and it is from our own messes that we can find our messages and our lessons.

There will be times where you don’t know what to say or do, and you won’t know what the right next step will be. There will be times when you feel like you’re going a little bit crazy, but damn you’re so passionate about being able to grow and be as empowered as you can be.

There will be moments when your truth will trigger someone else’s fear, and you’ll likely be named, blamed, and seen as the problem itself.

The magic is though, that we get to choose. We get to choose to play small and keep ourselves safe. We get to choose to live in our passion and take on the mess because let’s be real it’s kind of fun after the fact, and we get to choose to become what we want (or not).

Is it messy? Sure. Is it sometimes like trying to catch your breath when you’re caught in the current of a wave? Definitely.

But do you remember being a kid and finger painting off of the paper and onto the table, or maybe even yourself? Sure, you got in trouble, after a minute it was uncomfortable, but damn it was worth it to experience that freedom and creation.

Life is fucking messy! But you get to choose who you are, and how you live. So live within the mess with as much grace and joy as you can. Embrace the mess, dance with it, invite it to create (with) You.

One Simple Tool To Help You Overcome A Scarcity Mindset

One Simple Tool To Help You Overcome A Scarcity Mindset

The mental state of having scarcity minded beliefs can be a hard habit to break, and sometimes it can be an emotional journey too. Breaking limiting belief patterns and freeing yourself from conditioned beliefs is definitely not an easy process, but it can be incredibly simple and free flowing if you allow it to be. I find that when one can make simple and empowering shifts in perspective, the journey of growth becomes a lot softer and more inspiring.

While it can be hard to break limiting beliefs like this, if you have the right tools it won’t have to feel as intense as you may have previously experienced, or as you might imagine it to feel. To make the mindset shift you need for moving out of a scarcity belief pattern, you must recognize first if your belief holds any truth. Regarding scarcity, this would mean that you truthfully don’t have what you need, you don’t have enough, or that you are not supported within your life in a way that you feel is sustainable.

Now, I’d like to invite you to take a good hard look at your life and if your scarcity beliefs are even remotely truthful to your everyday experience. Perhaps you will find that in the grand scheme of things, this scarcity is true for you. Take this awareness even deeper, right now in this moment do these beliefs apply as truth? Note how I wrote right now, this is our only real experience of reality. There is only the present moment. In this present moment, do your scarcity beliefs ring true or valid in any ways?

It is easy to do this exercise of awareness and find that you maybe don’t have enough in this very moment (i.e. ‘I have rent to pay in two weeks, so no, what I need is not here with me right now.’), but this is counter productive of the exercise. Say that you relate to the example of having to pay your rent soon and acknowledge that you do not have to pay your rent right this second. Notice that if you recognize that your rent is not due right now, and you are truly and wholly only looking at what you have and if it is all that you need in this moment, you will find that yes, you have exactly what you need for right now.

It is there that any scarcity beliefs can dissolve, disappear, and the thought patterns can be broken. You have all that you need right now. What you will need later will come to you when you need it. The truth of the matter is, that you are fully and completely supported and provided for. When you can align yourself with these truths you can open your mind and energy to opportunity for more abundance, because when your energy moves from the belief of ‘I don’t have what I need’ into ‘I have what I need right now and I know that more is on the way’ you quite literally open up space for more abundance to finds its way to you.

This practice is not overly complex or complicated, it is just a simple shift in mindset and perspective that can free you of living in a lower vibrational state. If you can practice and actively find simple shifts like this one for yourself, your life will become more vibrant and joyful with much more ease.

How will you use this tool to help you overcome your scarcity mindset this week? Share with us in the comments below!

Spirituality is about Realness

Spirituality is about Realness

I set out this month to write and publish a blog everyday. I had no expectation, and really just wanted to challenge myself, see what the Universe would match that energy and intention with, and see if any analytics changed in any kind of way. As you may have noticed, the last 3 days I haven’t posted a blog. Scandalous, I know.

If you are a creative of any kind, you know how difficult it can be to force the creation of something, let alone something of quality. As much as this month is about a quantity of blogs, I will not write unless I feel that a message, lesson, or tool is one of quality and universal relevance. So, for the last 3 days I didn’t write or publish anything. I wasn’t in a place to focus into the work I do in the way I needed to, and as I wrote previously this month about honoring ones process I needed to honor where I was. And instead of putting out sub-par content (not to mention life guidance), I held space for when I could focus.

Spirituality is about Realness from the Spirit & Soul blog

Because here is the thing about spirituality, it’s not about being the best, the most enlightened, or being righteous. Spirituality is about realness. For example, this week I had to be real with myself and to be in flow rather than force, I needed to not write or post a blog for a few days. To not burn myself out, I had to get real. In this instance, real meant rest, trusting in my process, and leaning into the love that I would open more space for.

Spirituality is not about doing all of the yoga, meditating, or reading of books about the Universe, Source, or God. It means being connected, and trusting that connection. Perhaps for you that aligns with yoga, meditation, or learning. But here’s the catch my soul-siblings, if you do all of the spiritual activities only for face value or the image of being a vibrant little light worker, that isn’t real, and you will likely soon learn that through experience.

Being spiritually connected + expressive means being 100% real and authentic, not to be confused for masking your human experience realness (yes, the unpretty bits, especially the unpretty bits) with ‘love + light’. Love + light without action to actualise the intention is nothing. Often the most spiritual thing you can do, is to be in your mess. Not to dwell in it or attach yourself to it, but to be with it, and to be open to what it has to offer you.

This realness includes letting go of that which does not serve you, not to be confused with suppressing or ignoring the unpretty bits of life because they “aren’t pretty” and “therefore don’t serve you”. This journey of getting real leads to letting go of what doesn’t serve your highest good, or the highest good of those around you. For example, me writing and publishing less than raw and universally true content wouldn’t serve me, it would have burnt me out. And it wouldn’t serve you, because it wouldn’t have been as good as it needed to be. It was not of highest good, so I let it go.

Continuing to let go of what doesn’t serve the highest good of all will lead you to some pretty epic realisations. Like, “Hey, my judgement is a total waste of energy and space that could be used for way better things.”, “Wow, these assumptions I make only cause pain and/or destruction.”, “Holy f*uck, when I am inauthentic, I am disabling myself and everyone around me from experiencing me in my truth and my magic.”

So, yes, as you continue to get real with yourself and get more connected to your Source, you are lead to love and light and blessings. That does not veto you from having to experience some unpleasant to learn the lessons you are here for. However, it will bring you understanding, vastly simple and powerful action, and universal compassion. Because when you get far enough with the healing and getting real, everything will lead back to love, compassion, and understanding.

I would love to hear how this article has helped shift your perspective of spirituality, so please sound off in the comments below and let’s get some juicy conversation started!

How to Embrace Every Life Experience with Love

How to Embrace Every Life Experience with Love

Life can be kind of crazy sometimes. The ebb and flow, peaks and valleys, dancing with Life, climbing mountains, falling, and sometimes just sitting still. It can be hard to know what all of it means, if it means anything at all. And it can be difficult to navigate how to make things better when they are feeling less than great. Still, hindsight being 20/20 there is so much more beauty and magic in life than there is pain or darkness. Is there a way to love both the light and dark parts of life, though? And if so, what does that even look like?

When you can understand why the specific things that are occurring in your life are occurring, you can find peace within the process. It is all in your understanding. Perhaps the only understanding that you will need is that everything happens for a reason, and that there is a lesson to be learned from this experience, negative or positive. Other times the understanding you will need will take a little bit more discovery and exploration for your own answers. This shift in perspective will help to soften the darker of experiences in life.

Once you can find a headspace and heartspace of peace, you can then move into the fun stuff. The part where loving every experience comes into play. It isn’t hard to love the beautiful bits of life, and it isn’t hard to sometimes be really grateful for them either. To intentionally hold a space of deep and consistent gratitude takes a little bit more effort. Once you achieve mastery of this practice though, your highs will feel so much higher, and that energy will manifest more positivity.

To do a little bit more intentional work, you can hold a deeply rooted knowing that the negative experiences of life hold just as much magic and light, because through the transformation those tough experiences will reward you with wisdom and trust in the process. If you let them, that is. You see, if you can hold a knowing and gratitude for the universal truth that is everything happens for a reason, and if you can ground into that you can begin to fall in love with even the roughest of chapters of your life.

It is not the easiest practice, but it is one that will gift you with feelings of safety, support, and purpose. You will no longer feel lost and broken in your periods of darkness, but rather you will feel inspired and empowered even when things are hard to sort out. You will find a feeling of peace and contentment with your growth process, and from that place you can bring your own light to whatever the negative situation may be.

While it isn’t fun to say, our darkest moments in life tend to be our most formative, no matter our age. So if you can find gratitude and knowing in the fact that you are exactly where you need to be so that you may reach your highest potential. You can find an underlying love for even the most uncomfortable and unwanted experiences. You can find a power in that space to bring forth light and wisdom that will make the journey a little bit more bearable. There you can embrace any experience that comes your way with a loving understanding, confidence and maybe even joy.
