Dearest Darkness,
I’m sorry you have such a bad wrap, but I’d like you to know that I don’t hate you. In fact, I am so grateful for you. You have taught me so much!
I’m sorry that so many people don’t understand you. Like how they don’t understand that you and Light are actually great friends who work really well together. And how they don’t understand that you don’t mean any harm, and they blame you, or tag you rather, to their most trying times.
You are a different vibe, a darker one, but that doesn’t make you negative. I know you’re here to teach, and help bring light to, well, Light. I know you mean no harm, and any harm done is mostly of my reaction and non-awareness, and everything is for me to learn from. If a lesson you taught me was harmful, I forgive you. I understand your purpose and presence. I trust you know what you’re doing. I accept you as a part of me. An important one too.
So here’s to you Darkness. Thank you for all you are. Please keep teaching me and bringing me lessons. You’re welcome to work through me anytime.
