Every Full Moon I do releasing and intention setting work. I release that which is no longer serving me, a and ask the Universe to surround my upcoming projects with good vibes and support. This past Monday night was a big full moon for me, and it had some serious astrological alignments, so i got pretty serious with my releasing + intention setting work. I usually do this work in the form of writing a letter to the Divine, and while I was writing Monday night something was just off, not quite right. I was asking the Universe for things and as I was writing I was thinking. “Am I doing these things for myself and my projects?” With some things I was, and with some I was definitely half-assing it. And with that I began learning a super powerful lesson, I felt it becoming, moving through me to teach me. The niggle went from a niggle to a stern voice and I acknowledged it. I heard it out. And it clicked. The Divine can only do so much for you and bringing your wishes to reality.
Maybe this is common knowledge, at least I feel like it should be, but it didn’t hit home for me until I faced that little voice. I looked at that paper I was writing on like it was a mirror and found the lesson. No matter your religious or spiritual beliefs, what you want to realize in your life will not come unless you work for it. It won’t work out unless you do. The Divine can only surround things with so much magnetic energy and support, and then it is in our hands to lead our manifestations to us. Its our turn to do our part, be clear in our intention and hustle. I gained such beautiful clarity from this lesson, and got a nice kick in the ass from the Universe. What are you doing to get where you want to be in communion with the Universe’s support? I can tell you that up until my aha moment I wasn’t doing my part.
We pray and ask for support, but why? What is the intention? We want to bring something new into our lives, but are we working on it too? Are we putting in our half? Are we clearly attracting what we want, or are we sending heavily mixed messages on our end?
This lesson moved me, hit home, spoke to me loud + clear. I asked the universe for support and good energy every Full and New moon, and that night I added to my ritual. I sat down and got crystal clear on my end. I wrote out what I was going to do. I will surround my projects with good energy and support and I will ask the Universe to do so as well. I will attract the outcome of the highest good and I will ask the Universe to guide this outcome to me.
Manifestations don’t work unless you do. Those great achievements and goals you want on your vision board? They are great, but what are you going to do to achieve them? That growth you’re aching for, the expansion you seek in your life — What are you doing to expand and grow? It is similar to Danielle LaPorte’s Desire Mapping. “What are you going to do to feel the way you want to feel?” Danielle asks. You can pray about it and wish for it and want it to come to and be organic… But what are YOU going to do to help realize it? You have to start before your thing can become reality, you have to start before anything can come to fruition organically.
